Liminal Space, 2022
The word liminal comes from the Latin word ‘limen’, meaning threshold – any point or place of entering or beginning. A liminal space is the time between the ‘what was’ and the ‘next.’ It is a place of transition, a season of waiting, and not knowing. This exhibition addresses the liminal space we experience after an intimate relationship has ended. A series of 8 paintings depicts memories of growing together, falling in love, moving apart and healing. They portray the deep vulnerability we allow when we share our body and spirit with another. |
Connection, 2021:
A Story of Returning Home Connection explores what it means to come home: home to those who share your blood, and home to yourself. It tells a story of passage and a story of love. In a time when human connection has been so limited, I hope my work reminds us that there is still beauty in the world if we pause and take a moment to see it.

PASSION FOR STORIES.
ART ROOTED IN THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE. |
I believe art has the power to change the world.
I hope viewing my portfolio Feels like stepping into my mind: A world of hope, beauty, and compassion Created with my hands. I know I can only do what is in my capabilities. Yet it is in the little ways The little combinations of many That great things can be accomplished. I believe art has the power to change the world. I aim to create art that does just that. |
